Our office is open from Sunday through Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and closed on Saturdays. It's ideal you book an appointment at 346-521-4064 or at 713-858-0044 if you plan on visiting.
Remember that our office is located within a residential area: 14803 Camino Rancho Dr, Houston, TX 77083
There are no set semesters here at AAA CDL School, get your CDL on your time with our flexible schedule! When you enroll is when you start! To keep commitment with being One-on-One, we work on a first come, first serve basis, meaning availability may vary. Enrolling in our school is done on location at our office, please bring your valid Texas Driver's License and at least your first payment towards tuition. To enroll, book an appointment beforehand 346-521-4064 or at 713-858-0044
To enroll at our school you will need to set up an appointment as the enrollment process is done in person and takes roughly an hour or so. Please bring your valid Texas Driver's License and at least your first payment towards tuition. Keep in mind what the DPS will need from you as well, that being proof of US Citizenship, Resident Alien, or Work Permit with at least 12 month validity, at least 2 forms of proof of Texas Residency, DOT Medical Card, Social Security Card, and your valid Texas Driver's License.
Payment towards tuition can be done in full or as you progress through the course you are completing, ideally done in 3 or 4 installments. There is a 3.5% convenience fee if paying any installments with credit or debit cards but this can be waived if tuition is paid in full. Payments towards installments can also be done via cash, check, or Zelle at flat rates to avoid that convenience fee.
We unfortunately do not offer any financial aid as we are a small at-home business although we have alliances with YMCA, Baker Ripley, Salvation Army, TWC, TWS and DARS. Contact those alliances directly to check what their requirements are to become members. Keep in mind that the government gives a limited budget to all of these institutions. We suggest looking into trucking companies that will allow tuition reimbursement when looking to enroll at our school.
Yes! Our business is within a residential area, a two-story yellow house. We operate from a small separate building in the back, don't freak out or feel discouraged! Our trucks yard is roughly a 10 to 15 minute drive away.
Office Location: 14803 Camino Rancho Dr, Houston, TX 77083
Truck Yard Location: 7103 Baneway Dr, Houston, TX 77072
We will refer you to companies that we are affiliated with and point you in the right direction. These companies seek recently graduated students although we ultimately have no control over their hiring processes.
You must be able to speak and read a sufficient level of English in order to get your CDL. This means you should be able to converse with the general public, understand traffic signs and highway signals, respond to official inquiries, and make reports and records.
The CLP Knowledge Tests can be taken in Spanish but will ultimately hinder your license with an intrastate restriction.
Finally, the Road Test itself must be performed in English as the DPS examiner must understand your speech and you must understand and follow their directions.

THE DRIVERS WE'VE PUT ON THE ROAD...
“They were nice and understanding!
The computers are very easy and very quick. The air brake test is basically just like in the truck. This is the place to come if you want to learn fast and learn the right way to do things.”
Wesley Gage - AAA CDL School Graduate
“It was a great experience!
I put my heart into it, so I was able to come out on the first try passing the test. It just depends on how much attention you put into studying.”
Andrew Wofford - AAA CDL School Graduate
“I think it is the best!
I am so glad I came here because you don’t just learn to get behind the wheel and drive, you learn critical thinking skills. I am so grateful for that.”
Mavis Vivens - AAA CDL School Graduate
“I liked the One-On-One training!
You are not in the truck with three different people. It’s just you and the instructor. You ask all the questions you want. You have to relax, do what you know, pass and get your CDL.”
Aletha Landrum - AAA CDL School Graduate
